So a few days ago I noticed that my turn signals werent working when moving, even though they work perfectly fine when standing still. So I did some testing and came to the conclusion that they only work while the brake light is on. Right hand side i have to hold it in for it to blink, and on the left its enough to just tap the brake and it continues by itself. I dont think it has anything to do with the rpm's as it still works normally in high rpm when standing still. Anyone got an idea on what the problem might be? Front left turn signal is LED by the way. Thanks

All ive done is replace the relay to one from eBay. Lights wouldnt blink with old one. Nothing Else is LED. Yesterday i noticed that when standing still with blinker on while holding the brake, there was a small "ticking" sound comming from below the tank. Gonna check under there this weekend.

i think you may have a faulty connection on the loom
however begin by checking your 4 bulbs , they must be 10W 12V each
tell me which year is your bike (colour if you know) or your VIN number
so i will be able to investigate the connections :yellowcard:

Checked the 3 bulbs cause one is LED. All three are 12V 10W, however the LED one is 12V 1,7W. Turn signals doesn't blink faster though.
The ticking sound comes from what i think is the servo motor, (not sure, the wheel thing with wires) but dont know anything about that.
Its first registred in 1997, its yellow, black and grey. Frame number is ZDCJC22800Fxxxxxx (definetly an 8 not B but whatever).
I appreciate all help I can get

the dash bulb must not be a LED and it's vital : 4 bulbs 12V 10W
i know perfectly this bike , this is the last year of model without spécifications
that's why the "8" .so 1998,1999,2000,2001 have A-B-C-D-E country specs
your colour is YR183
if you have difficulty with anything send me a message with your mail at bike chat forum (my pseudo is alains)
(i think you should register)

My email is robinskram@hotmail.com if you need. Would changing all turn signals with led be wise?
