just been trawling the net for rs power figures

found this

Okay so what we see here is the 125cctuning.com's highest Aprilia RS125 Power figure,

The bike featured:
Full Gianelli System
34mm Carb bored out to 39mm
VForce Reeds
STANDARD ENGINE INTERNALS with 125cctuning.com tune
PVL Ignition
Lightened Flywheel

43.41Bhp!!!!!!!

.... Just to put things into perspective also on the graph there is a dyno run shown for a stock Honda Rs125Gp! Although it didnt have the midrange it had more peak power than a £14,000 Gp bike!!!

is this really possible ??a true 43 hp at the wheel ??? im sceptical

anything is mate, just would need rebuilding every 10 miles lol.

id say no but with a lightened flywheel and decent ignition system will definitely help

i think its possible, but the stresses on the internals of that engine are going to be immense so, with standard internals it would probably explode before reaching the end of a race! Also the power band on it will be completely unusable. Although on paper it has more power in reality it would probably be very slow on anything but an arrow straight road, due to the miniscule power band, and even then you would have to change gears so fast that it would probably work out slower than the GP bike.

im confused to why they have plotted speed against hp, usually its hp against rpm is it not? definate porkies, or they've tried to make a 250 better, but really made it worse claiming it was the 125

lol is it bad i hadn't actually noticed that. in that case it sort of proves the point although its HP figure is much higher its top speed is the same as a restricted bike! just goes to shop HP isn't everything ;]

end of day the more houses the 125 cc is making the less life span the standard parts will see. so 42 bhp is imence but for 10 laps only, if you get me. boom

this one made me lol 30 hp from an arrow exhaust only on a stock bike PMSL

37.95Bhp!!!

The GREEN line is a full 125cctuning.com tune, no fancy parts EXCEPT:
30mm Dellorto Carb

it is funny coz mine dyno ran a mph reading rather than a rev limit and only went to 65 mph............... seeing 24bhp

#11 ·
bull.sh*t.

#12 ·

#14 ·
lol, yet to see one from you....

#16 ·
same as that really, the guy didnt want to to read it as it would have cloged his sh*t up, plus A/F reeading on 2t are sh*t at best anyways .plus a new motor so didnt push it over 70mph or 9000 rpm. shame it never saw a more powerfully rpm mate. didnt want to risk it. id of thought it would hve seen 25ish 27 at a push with run in motor and not so rich jetting. do s for road use.
and thats no mods, just a giannelli silencer.

might get it done again befor sale mate. spec when i see all these 33bhp full power slogins on bike adverts latly, makes me mad lol

#20 ·
id cut while i was ahead mate, if i remember right dont you have a lighter flywheel and strongeer race crank fitted ....... if you pumping out 33 bhp at wheel thats an easy 35-36 at crank..... mega power for a 125cc. i reckon it would see more but service intervals would be ten a penny. i love your chase though, fking wish youd buy a mito to play with........ your a fkin good man for cranking up the chace of the 125 bhp. if only you could get some sort of sponcership....... would yeld good results i reckon steve.

i leant bull sh*t to their dodgy dyno's earlier btw

And i have a spare one sat around so feel free to come and tinker lol

I think that 43hp figure is from engine. It is really possible to get 43hp, but I don't believe that parts mentioned there will be enough for 43hp. Gianelli exhaust and 43hp? I call that bullsh*t. 40hp+ requires at least Jim Lomas or Jollymoto or preferably custom made exhaust.

Anyway, 43hp is possible, Honda RS125 has 44hp/12200rpm. And 125 "MotoGP" bikes have 55-60hp.

lol, was drinking last night.

A stock derestriced Rs 125 with an arrow system jetted to suit makes 28 Rwbhp.

A stock honda Rs125 makes 40 rwbhp
