im thinking of converting my Aprilia RS to a standard street fighter and just keep on adding on more improvements,
but ive been looking into it.. Do i need to get new yokes or mod my current ones?
Or would it be okay to keep them standard. Then eventually upgrade?

+1

Someone over here has tried to streetfighter an RS and it looks ridiculously, the motor is far too small and looks silly in the frame.

Agreed, all a streetfightered RS says is "I crashed it and I'm too cheap to replace the fairings."

You'll lose a lot of the value of the bike, so sell up and buy a tuono, or a planet.

it looks messy, shouldve tidied up all the random cables going into the frame etc.

I wouldnt buy a bike like that because its clearly been crashed and bodged into a 'streetfighter'

Agreed it is tidy, but i was asking about the yokes do i need diferent ones or can i use the RS yokes and fork's.
and what fairings are they on that pic it looks mint +1
Also is wireing the headlamp up going to be a problem or will it connect to the normal aprilia plug?

No it doesnt mean its been down road all time, infact i think one of these were down road and other just been made to how he wants it and just toke fairings off.

I really don't understand why do people call Tuonos and Planets streetfighters, its f**king annoying. They arent, they don't even look like one. Those bikes are just... things or something, not really fighters. Factory fighters maybe?
Besides, new rs125 looks quite ugly, well it depends on how you look at it but it just doesn't look right.

To use a mx style handlebar you either need to get a tuono top yoke or weld the handlebar fastenings to the standard one. You can just bolt the clamps on but i'd prefer welded ones since the yokes are quite thin walled.
