rs 125 missfire missfire 5900-6100 rpm

hi
please help shes a 03 plate rs125
misfire.From 1000 rpm to 5900 sweet as a nut then 5900-6100 its like a fast popping sound from carb then after 6100
its good as gold right up to redline, shes got a 120 main jet, cone airfilter ,decated.

for the phbh 28mm carb? if so :
rejet to 122 or try 125 first
120 is the standard with a standard air box
with a cone you wanna be goin up at least 5 sizes !!! must be runnin well lean wats your plug look like fella ?http://www.125ccsportsbikes.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif

Put the original air box on and see how it goes then.

its a 28mm carb plug is a new 1 got it today
and i dont have the air box
will get 122 and 125 main and try them in the morning

Have you got a drilled ecu? Where you dig into the silicone.

Might be worth raising the needle as your probably lean in the mid range, that and going for +3 on the main jets.

ahaa just re read this lol
your on about the splutter at 5.500 to 6.100 mine did this on qtr throttle
try w.o.t. threw the gears and see if it does it ??
