iOS 7 is (well, looks) awesome! I like the new "close apps" screen. And the way the icons tilt with the phone. I'm so sad.

I'm surprised (and happy) that no visitors/spectators riding the course didn't die considering the number of road closures for serious incidents....good to hear!!!!

Ha ha, road closures seemed worse this year, but less crashes non-the-less which is good!

It's both good and bad I guess, because if I didn't go in today, I would have gone in tomorrow anyway because I forgot I had it off. Lol

Just seen someone ask if the bikes racing the TT have a clear road, or have to navigate around traffic...

I've got a pair, (non waterproof though) and can't fault them. First set of boots I've had that I've actually found comfortable to ride and walk in.

Exact same, got mine in december, used them through winter with one leaking and one not -.- 6 month's on there super comfy, nice and cool in the sun but warm when its cold. Win Win! id spend the extra on waterproof OR get a pair of those waterproof socks to match!

Anyone coming over for TT without a vehicle? Bus drivers are being twats and striking for TT, so good luck getting about if you don't have your own vehicle.

Yeah, proper into it at the moment! Standalone is out soon though, so most the bugs will be ironed out in that.

If I pay a deposit using my Debit card, to someone in Japan in Yen, will I get heavily charged? Or will it just send and convert automatically with minimal charges? I don't have a credit card, so need to use the debit, so confused.

you'll likely get d*cked on the exchange rate.
Then you also need to check that they can take your card, as not all debit cards work abroad.

You'd really be best ringing your bank, being on hold for ages, then finding out that maybe/maybe not is the answer when some 17 Y/O clueless useless f*ck answers the phone... :p

Or maybe you actually find out too lol

Depends how much your paying. If its lowballer amount, getting f*cked for exchange rate isnt that much, you'll be out of pockey only a few quid as opposed to the PO exchange for example. If it's big baller money, consider getting it exchanged first, but still, if it's big baller amount I wouldn't be paying a foreigner over the phone...

Ended up just putting in the card details and it accepted, and they emailed me saying they received confirmation, don't know how much it charged me yet though, ha ha. Ah well, that's another thing sorted for the trip!

In an argument with someone on Supra forums because they believe a 'Busa would beat a S1000RR, whereas I think otherwise. This is on the road, with same talent riders.

Honestly I just see the 'Busa, and the people usually riding them, and just think it's a straight line tank. And I would say a decently set up 600BHP+ car would give a standard litre a run for it's money!
