Hello.

I have just watched an MCN video on YouTube:

And they are riding 125cc sportsbikes, that are apparently 15bhp.

They scream around on them, and the tankcam that you see clearly shows the rider screaming into the redline at 10,000rpm and then changing gear at about 12,000rpm!

I didnt think it was safe to rev into the redline like they do?

Please tell me if it is safe, as I may consider doing it ocasionally on my TZR125, if I ever need that bit extra power!

Thanks!

anything in moderation mate, so long as you dont ride it like that all the time.cant see the benefits really, unless its in top gear, cos you would have less power above the red line, than in the next gear anyway

Going into the redline every once in a while can be good for an engine as it blasts out carbon deposits from the cylinder, piston and ports. However, it is there for a reason. I.e to stop you f**king up your engine. Anyway if you look at the dyno graph for virtually any bike, the power falls significantly at any point past the red line. So you wont get any power gains and if you do it too regular you will have a shagged engine

one thing you must remember, based on the fact that its yellow, and slow, i would have to assume, that it is a sachs xtc, which is a four stroke, the rider is pinning it in every gear, because its the only way he is able to keep t5he 2 strokes in sight, you will notice that he only catches up with them,by doing something REALLY stupid.this my freinds is a valuable lesson 2 STROKES RULE!

Did anyone notice that it actually changes the bike it's viewing from halfway? And yes, there was some stupid f**king riding going on there...

Check out the bike in the second half though... GOTTA be the world's ONLY racer who bothers to use his indicators

I did think that was odd....using his indicators!

I only use them if I am in town....just because of the stupid bloody car drivers who cant be arsed to look around properly!

The first rider wasnt a stupid rider.........he was bloody suicidal!!!

I have never taken risks like that!!!

Overtaking a vehicle on a corner? then cutting across infront of the vehicle just to keep up with the other bikes?! IDIOT!

also, did you notice the speedo? it was obviously in Kmh, but even still 120kmh is about 75mph, so he was pushing it a bit on those roads!

Overtaking on a left hand bend, yes, f**king stupid.

Overtaking on a right hand bend... considered the dog's bollocks of manouvres by police riding schools.
