Can I use a Dt, DTR ect clutch cable on a TZR 125 rk 1991 model?

i think the dt one is slightly longer, but i believe the fittings either end are the same.so i would say yes,you might just have an extra bit of cable to hide

yes they are but the DT one is longer, i know this for a fact cos i bought DT cables for my streetfightered TZR

Anyone know where I can get a clutch cable that fits a TZR 125 R (4DL)?

Also need a set of clutch and brake levers, (carbon fibre look if possible), tried DT's did fit - front brake.

My bike is undergoing a full rebuild, I'm replacing or upgrading pretty much everything.

Anyone got any chrome goodies for a 4dl, or anything tasty, speak up 'cos I'm buying..

EVERYONE seems to think ALL pre-1993 TZRs are 2rk. THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THERE ARE DIFFERENCES!!!

They have different parts, and are cosmetically different too.

Ages are (if anyone can be bothered to actually look in their bleedin' haynes manual, it says in the front) as follows:

2RK -- March '87 to March '89 -- 2RK000101
3PC1 -- March '89 to Feb '90 -- 2RK011101
3PC2 -- Feb '90 to Dec '90 -- 2RK016101
3PC3 -- Jan '91 to Aug '93 -- 2RK025101

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE start to refer to your bikes properly. The wiring is different, the 3PC2 and 3PC3 were factory shipped with rear discs and flushmount indicators on the front, and there are all sorts of other differences.

I will re-post this is a thread which hopefully a mod will sticky, for people to actually read!

must say, ive never seen flush mounted indicators as standard on any tzr.

By flush, I mean they don't stick out on stalks. Not completely flush though...

anyway, i need a clutch cable as well, what're the wemoto efforts like?

they all stick out on stalks, my 87 2rk had the same indicators as my mrs' 90 3pc2,and i never seen a tzr with anything different
