Ive just got new bar ends but i cant take the old ones off, does anyone no how to take them out of the handle bars???

are you just trying to get the end off or whole bar weight? try using some strength!

im just trying to get the end off, theres a screw in the end but you can turn it either way and it doesnt undo, cant get enough grip on the bar end to hold it and turn the screw either.

there little black clips that need pushing in then u can pull em out. pull back the grips u should see em

Look at Mr Muscles,

nice bar ends! exactly what I was gonna get but was told that they wont fit, so got some crappy red ones for a cbr600, haven't tried them yet as I aint got the strength to get the old ones off.

Are they the Motorax bar ends?

bar ends are a b*st*rd to get off.

try soaking them with wd-40 before you try to remove them. just drench them. leave em for a few minutes.

then try....

get someone to hold the bike while someone else (strong) pulls and it will cum out

Sweet just after getting them off! Just drowned them in wd40 there now so i can attempt to get the screw off later! Noticed there was a sh*t load of glue where the end meets the weight so tried to scrape as much of that off as well!
