Anyone any ideas as to why my bikes cuttin out in the rain?basically when im drivin in heavy rain the bike randomly cuts out! and when i leave her sittin for a while she starts ok again! any ideas anyone? also, me insurance is up soon..whos everyone with? im in northern ireland tho! cheers!

I got a letter the other day about a recall on the coils, Aparently they have been affected by winter weather conditions and suffer corrosion and fail. could be that.

Have a word with your local dealer, If it is that they should change them free of charge.

it could also jus be ur spark plugs that get wet.... i washed my bike an it would not start an when it did it cut out i asked my dad an he said ur spark plugs r jus wet an then i jus let it out in the sun to dry an it worked again

Check your fuse box, air filter, coolent level and any wires that aren't insulated properly...

ha ha its a brand new ignition that i have just fitted, think that its misalligned and pin in stuck on something. gonna have to sort it at weekend. CBA

Did you check the steering lock bracket on your frame isn't bent?

Yup thats what the problem will be, im 90% sure. i had my Cibber recalled a couple of years ago and it sorted the problem.

As of yesterday im with Carole Nash, but try Lexham as they gave me a cheap quote.

Lexham are good. Excess is quite high but the quotes are low as fook.

Just hope any claims you make are not your fault
