hiya i haven't done this but am thinking about it i was looking at possibly putting a newer ducati clock set on like the 749 white face. But i thing there was a post mentioning digital speedo i think it was bigworm who had used one

Bigworm, that set up looks really nice lit up! Like how the revometer goes around the top, would be better watching the revs fly up and down on that than the stock set-up!

I'd like to get some rev lights but i dont think i have the balls to mess around with the electrics on the mito.

I had a digital speedo in my car. The problem with them is with all digital gauges its impossible to judge the rate of change, so you look at it, it says 60, you look back at the road. How do you know if you are changing speed? At least with a needle you can see it move.

i like, i like alot, how dificalt was it to fit the digi spedo into the old clock faceure? and how complex is the wiring and the spedo and rev link ups ?

trouble with going digital on the mito is that the revs on the engine are cable driven and so is the speed

the speed is easy to overcome you get in the pack a sensor and magnet
place the magnet on any wheel with the sensor next to it

on my wiring diagram it says you can splice into the coil to get a reading for revs

mines using a 3ma motor with a output on the cdi so no probs splicing into the wiring
