Is this unique
or am I getting excited over nothing?
Also the intakes look quite big do you think it would require different jetting from standard? Sorry about poor quality of the pics, I couldn't be arsed to take side fairing bit off.

The silver bits are the intakes, it's like a fine mesh. Can't really make that out in the pics

Hi !

That Air Box (the top of it) was ONLY used with TM35 Kit (Mito EVO '94~98)
That Air Box naturally has got a bigger rubber manifold compered to std model so that it can be easyly fitted with Tm35.

in your given example photo the bike has 28PBHB carb in it. so most likely that bike is '99 -> and some1 has just fitted it with a mentioned Air Box top. Why would any1 do it other way around..and giving up the TM35 (cagiva Cup rules would be the only reason)

Bye

No that's cool, I have a 95 bike so that must be rite. I'm sure when I checked last my carb was a Mikuni, jus not sure bout the 35 but spose it must be?!?
They usually have an ink-stamped "35" about 1-cm high or so on side of the body of the carb.
I am pretty sure that's the only size designation. As stated by others, the Mikuni TMX 35
with that airbox was standard on 95 models
