am i correct in thinking i should use semi synthetic oil in the viffer?? sure i read it somewhere. just bought some putoline sport 4 semi 10W/40

yeah semi is what my honda dealer told me to use.

Semi is what most road bikes use, only race bikes really need fully becuase of closer tolerances and so fourth! I know my 636 uses semi

if u get a k&n oil filter they have a 17mm nut on the end makes the whole process luffly

The clutch doesnt slip, on older bikes its better to use fully synth, on newer bikes use semi. Used fully in the zxr and never had one problem.

would of thought other way round, like on 2t's best to use mineral on the steel liner dt/tzr engines, but fully on a coated bore such as mito or rs125.

yep you are right jonny, use fully synthetic on bikes with a dry clutch.

well thats what the garage put in, they did used to race zxr400's afterall.....
i think theres a thread on 400gb about it or something...
