Hi all, im new here and my name is Ken from Singapore
nice to meet you guys. Well, i just got my TZR the japan version not the 125R or something. Anyway, I need to ask around if anyone of you know if there is any nice fairing for my tzr125? I would want something like tzr50's fairing. Anyone know if i can fix that on my tzr125? or other fairing that can be fitted to my tzr125. I want to change because i dont like the old design, so maybe i like something like http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/yamaz/TZ1251997-03.htm
but not sure if that fits on my tzr. or anyone know if any company customize fairing? but of course with headlights, signal and tail lights.. oh ya before i forgot is there any racing foot kit for tzr?

may i be the first to welcome you to the forum, which model do you have?is it a 2rk or 3pc?old style?there are several options open to you,you can get almost any fairng to fit, with very little work, and im sure if you could get hold of the tzr50 fairing you could make it fit.another alternative is to find a fibreglass shop, and show them what you want, but this will be very expensive.

if you give me your full frame number(stamped down the headstock)i can tell you exactly what model it is
you can get racing footrests to fit, but your looking at a start price of 300 ish quid

to be honest its getting difficult to find tasty mods for the tzr these days, unless you know somone that has one, that thery have modded themselves, and are willing to make duplicates.

3PCwhat? 3pc1, 3pc2, 3pc3?

You could do what a few people have done, and b*st*rdise the fairings from another machine onto it (like an rs or something).

i noticed that earlier today, i think it is a tzr250 race seat(or based on one)
i do like the paintjob, but not the thick balsk line on the headlight fairing, and the rear light looks sh*t just stuck on like that.but it shows promise

i think it is very difficult to modify the fairing, while still allowing it to look like a tzr(after all most of us bought this bike because it is a tzr)but by putting on a descent seat unit, you can make it look 100 times better, and it still looks like a tzr

I personally dont like the seat cowl that you can buy for the TZR...I think it looks a bit...um...crap....

I did wonder whether the seat cowl from an RD500 would fit, but I think the RD500s seat cowl fitted flush to the rear light unit...

if your going for the solo seat look, do it properly, and find a nice unit from another yammy model of the same era.thats the way to go

Mine came with a flush rear light
Think it's a cut down TZR one tbh. Also had the single seat conversion on it

Looks awesome! The cowl actually fits the scheme even though it doesn't quite match

Noooooooooooo... Clear rear lens is too new and flashy for a kick-ass old-school bike like the TZR...

My CBR has a clear tail light. And in ways, I wish it didn't... Although I'm gonna put an AIO unit in, that'll stop the clear bit looking so sh*t!
