went to start my cbr today was going to take it out for a blast havent been on it since before xmas.
anyway the front indicator wasn't working checked the bulb and its fine checked the plug on the wires it looked a bit coroded so snipped the plug off and joined the wires back up still no joy, puzzled because the back one comes on. any ideas because i am no good when it comes to wiring mechanical yeah.

yeah green to green and blue to blue.

Maybe the wires are not making a connection? or the middle of the 3 green fuses has blown?

right, got it working with a temporary fix still need to get to the bottom of it though cos i want i done properly.
i joined a wire onto the green wire were the joint is for the plug and earthed it on the inside of the indicator and it works fine . so i dont understand what the problem is . like i said it will do for the time being but i want it doing properly.

Did you cut the wires at the bulb end or at the socket end where it joins on the harness with a bunch of other wires?

cut them at the socket and joined them back together with a extra wire coming from the green and conected that to the inside of the indicator and it worked straight away. just been back out and fitted a 13 tooth sprocket but won't get chance to try it out today now. cos i am just waiting for the wife to phone and pick her up from work then it will be time to pick the kids up from school. have tea then i will have to go to bed cos i work permanent nights. so i am hoping the weather will be nice tomorrow like we had today.
