Marci said that its possible to get a flame out of the exhaust on the cbr if the baffle is removed is it possible to remove the baffle on a stock exhaust?????

Or just jet it so it runs rich and thus dumps any excess fuel out the exhaust ports on every other stroke... and ride in a snatchy fashion - ie: crack throttle open to full, then slam it shut. That should give you a nice burble on the overrun... all you now need to do is remove the baffle et voila - burble should change to pops of fireballs.

Our sidecar does it everytime you shut the throttle - but our exhaust pipe is a good foot shorter than yours...

Buy a new can,

Remus or Scorpion for the win, both have removable baffles, the Remus one is Rivveted and requires drilling the hole, but then you get a bolt to screw it in place for MOT purposes.

Not sure on the Scorpion, but i imagine its the same.

scorp has a bolt holding the baffle, i keep it under the seat, takes about 3.5 seconds to put it back in.

Flame exhaust, the simple way.

Find your carb's overflow pipe. Probably runs down with the jumble of pipes on the right hand side of the bike.

Re-route it into your end can, just before the back end.

Watch as the carb overflows, drops petrol onto the can which is hotter than the flashpoint of petrol (you don't need to measure this!!!), and the petrol ignites.
