i have just changed fork oil and seals on my tzr and now when the front fork are compressed the do not spring back up unless i pull them up with brake on
why would it be doing this

did you touch any of the damper parts in side? and did you leave enough of an air gap, might be a vacuum inside the fork not letting the oil back through the damping circuit? does it do it with the fork top off?? sounds like the rebound damping isn't letting the forks re-bound.try pushing them up and down with the tops off case there's air trapped in em too!

nope hasnt worked all parts are in correctly right amount of oil ect but its not working im stumped and dont no what to check now they work fine off bike but when weights on it they dont push back up hard enough

I can only think of 2 things that it could be...

1 - The fork springs are worn and have softened

2 - The Fork oil that you have put in is too heavy, and when weight of the bike is on them, the oil isnt allowing the springs to move properly

Apart from that, I dont know.......

yeah, have you put the right grade of oil in?
i think you can get a spring kit for about 30 quid, but i cant remember where from, it was some parts accessories catalogue tho.
but it seems a very strange problem you are having, i have never heard of it before, so can only guess at what your problem is.are there any spacer you could have put in the wrong way?
