Just got a CDI for the NSR today. Found the wires which need to be changed to make the CDI work on a french bike, but how do i get at it. So far ive took the seat off, rear panels but how do i get the metal bit off that the two side back panels bolt into? or if that does't come off how do i get at the CDI?

PS, thought id tell you about the derestrictions ive done:

fit TV-78 unit ( was from older model bike but cut wires and matched) ?50
English exhaust fitted ?60
Jets fitted ?15
Intake restrictor was removed when i got it. ?0
Got a CDI beside me, CI626 ?50

Hope its a bit quicker now.

i've done a simple thing on mine . seat off , look at the hugger and you see a kind of square box . use a steel blade saw and cut in the middle the bottom partition et broke the right part (facing the back) . this will give you access to the connectors without causing any dammage
