After doing an engine rebuild, I put her back together and she wouldnt spark, after much head scratching, I replaced the coil, still nothing, then replaced the rectifier, yet to no avail, no spark, hence i then thought the CDI was toast, so replaced it too. I thought here we go, but no we wasnt. After much chucking about of tools and threatening to kick the crap out of the little moo, i decided i had better change the pulser coil, upon removal of the engine casing i noticed that the wires were dangling in mid air, they had snapped clean apart from the pulser coil, 10 mins later and some soldering she fired into life. so to recap i didnt need cdi, coil or rectifier changing just a little more patience and checking more thorough i could have saved about 50 quid in total. God i felt so relieved and also dumb when i found the fault.
so in the words of some dumb ass(namely me) please check all possibilities before jumping in and wasting cash. I therefore now have a coil, rectifier and a CDI for a tzr if anyone has any use for them, just pm me, if not i will dump them on egay, and recoup some of the money i wasted.all parts will fit a 3PC2 and 3PC3 models and are working due to testing them now she works.
