Rite the bars seem to be ok and i havent noticed a noticable difference but when i move the bars fully left there is about three inches space between the tank but full turn right they are nearly hittin the tank. Any ideas?

Check for other obstructions that stop it getting to the one on the left. My old bike had problems with the wires being pulled a little too tight and stopping the bars moving to the end stops. Check things like your horn's placement too - that might be stopping it.

@MarkG : have your bike been fell off?
if it is... one of your handle bar is a bit knocked !
It might be looks fine... but it is not. A slight impact would impair it.
It can't be fixed, so you'd better replace with new one.

*BTW, hopefully it's just one of the stopper missing

bent bars are p**s easy to fix just tap it a few times with a malet till strate
no need to replace the hole bar unless bent quite away e.g ckinked or when its going to be damged bending it back

are the CBR bars Clip-on or clamp ontop of the yoke? if there clip-on it could have just sliped round the fork leg

They're clamped on top of the yoke.
I've experience one (bike fell) and some of mates too...
We tried to fix it ourself (me and some mechanics)... it looks alright... but when I try on the road... it's just not allright.. it's not balanced well too. What we see is not what you get (is this the right word?) hahaha...

So it would be better to get it replaced.

Where my left bar has bent really bad at the yoke on my RS, I'm not sure what to do. The allen bolt is bent, and so is the mating falnged bit on the bar, but if I put a new bolt in and bray the flanged bit so it's all straight, it mite be alrite. LOL

Proper bodge.

Doesn't help that I can't get the part from the only place that sells all Aprilia bits.
