hi guys, im looking into how possible it is to change my headlights to double headlight from the model of the following year.
Any help would be great...

let me know if you need other pictures but basically i want the double headlights form the J1/G2 onto a G2 modle!

I was thinking of doing that myself, but J models are so daftly cheap now, just sell it and get a J, you might even make a clean profit.

Another thing to note is the the J model seems to be the earlier model with just a different front fairing by the looks of them pictures, everything else inc side panels look identical to me

There are some differences under the skin. I wasn't aware until I read the Haynes manual, only makes for a few extra BHP though.

yeah its fuel injected so its gonna be smoother and probably why its got a few more bhp, about 8 i think.

And for the people who say ride it....it has 21k on the clock and i have done 4 since the start of this year!

If you look you'll still find Carbs, ZX6R didn't take FI until 2003.

fuel injectors are not smoother than carbs. and as philly said, injectors started at the B model.

Thaught the J2 was FI? Im probs wrong but im sure i heard that from off of here somewhere.

is it not the A1P that 1st had FI the next model up from the J (looks the same but had the 636 engine)
