From what I have seen, usually if there is a removable baffle it is removed by taking out a single screw located on the under-side of the pipe exiting the can. Once the screw is removed then the removable insert should just slide out.

Hope that helps, if not post some pics and someone may be able to work it out for you.

You have to unbolt the bolt on the underside holding the baffle in, then if you look inside the exhaust at the top with a torch you will see a bolt. This needs to be undone for the end cap of the exhaust to come off, once you have te end of the exhaust off just take the baffle out and reassemble the end although this is a lot easier said than done and is a b*st*rd if you cross thread it like i did lol

Hey mark. Theres a tidy remus on ebay at the moment ending tommorrow looks in good condition. Also if you were going to get a micron you might as well spend an extra 50 quid and get the full arrow system, looks and sounds the nuts.

When mine got nicked i had to pay th erecovery ?265 cos they had to use a winch ffs. If the police told me where it was my dad would have pulled it from the mud in his 4x4 with a bloody rope. Luckily i only had to replace a brake lever though.

I always preferred the Endurance Can, some loud rumble off that. On my old cbr, I couldnt hear a cbr beside me with a micron on it and even the baffle out - was crazy!!!

But yeh, what they said above, me and my mate took his baffle out last year, it was a real b*tch too.

Its ridiculous. Victims of crime and rightful owner of the vehicle and you get ripped off a tidy sum to get it back.
It?s insulting, the police told me it would be ?120 to recover my bike plus ?12 a day storage (luckily billed to the insurance company).

Your bike being stolen is such a sh*t:
1st ? you loose your bike, could be your only transport
2nd ? the police charge you to recover it from wherever the thieves dumped it
3rd ? you lose your no claims bonus
4th ? they put your insurance up again if you tell them you had a bike stolen in the last 5 years.

And the thieves, if caught, and that?s VERY unlikely as the police in general don?t seem interested get a slap on the wrist.

The whole situation seems the wrong way round, you?re the victim and get a harsher punishment than the criminals.
