Hi all,
Thought I'd see if this place had finally died off but seems it's been revamped (by looks of things anyways)
So mito forks, size/diameter of tops?
Am I right in thinking they are around 50mm?
Google suggests 40mm for both mito & planet.
Are they measuring chrome stantions or am I being senile again? (I am 1 of the older members iirc)
Anyway I need to know if the mito forks are same diameter at top, as the planet, so top yokes would be interchangeable from clip ons to flat bars.
I have a mito front end somewhere, & would like to fit it, minus clip ons, to another project I'm playing around with.
If they are same or pretty close, in dianeter, all I'd need is planet top yoke & I would have a lighter, "better" set of usd's, with brembo brake & 17" wheel compared to the heavy, rwu forks (decent enough) with crap Yamaha brakes & 18" wheel.
cheers,
GAZ

mito and planet share the same forks. stanchion is 40mm, top fork is 50mm.
I have not measured if the cables (throttle, clutch, etc...) are the same length...

Hi,
Thanks for confirming that 👍
Any ideas on length of complete fork leg?
