Mito Starter Relay replacement.

Hi All, looking for a replacement starter relay(not solenoid). Tried 2 different types of 5 pin changeover relays but all they do is buzz or click. Both were new and of the correct amperage. Has anybody found a cheaper alternative to a used £80 original? The 2 I trued were only £5 each. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Hey there I haven't been here in a while ,I have the Solenoid on the bike as Hitachi 12v MS 5A-181 .Which is 5 amp it has a 2 prong connector aside from the 2 others that has a diode on it ,when I looked up the part number it came up with a few but one stood out a Ducati forum they soldered the two pins as one but I have not traced the wires to see where the diode goes to .It would be protection for some reverse power from what ever .So I guess a 5 amp one should do I have had trouble with the starter on mine ages ago not related really .As for the high prices yes I am looking for a evo head light nothing under 10,000 quid ;)

Thanks, a bit worried that it's 5amp though, they should be 30amp?
Yes it's odd the diode goes back to the starter control box and other side to ground ,there is a wiring diagram out there called Mito Lawson 125 wiring diag Mk 2 ..It may be still on the forum somewhere ,I haven't seen a retro fit on the mito but I'm sure someone has done it .I don't know if it has to do with the power valve self check that the mito does on start up and that's why it goes to the control box .
That's interesting, I will look into it and see if I get anywhere with it? Thanks again.
