urgh the instructions said only an hour to fit BOLLOCKS! i got up at 10 and started working on it at 10.30 and im not even properly finished now

the instructions were obviously for a totally differnt undertray, it said no need to trim out back box, i had to rip out the whole damn thing to fit it, and it doesnt fit totally perfect, looks ok but i need to sort the end by the light out, also i have a new number plate on order which ill mount highier up the tail tidy so it doesnt look as gay, im also bidding on one of them light clips which will hide the over lapping bit by the light...

gonna drill small wholes for the blinker wires to go through and mount with another 2 bolts closer to the light, ran out of time today as im due to go out, and need the bike working as i have to goto wickford at 7.00 tommrow

enjoy

had to paint it my self but did that ok...

why did you have to trim the end off? doesnt exactly look tail 'tidy' theres this new ones there doing in america aswell but there too many dollars for my liking.

I quite like the look of them though
didnt fit at all with that little bit thats why i wanna get a light clip, only way of getting it to fit flush was too cut it off

Looks better... I remember doing mine not too long ago now, I smashed up a lot of stuff in my garage trying to get it to fit perfect! Took a whole weekend in the end too and ended up with a couple of broken tools and badly cut up finger/knuckles!

errrrrrrrrr i think youve mounted that completely wrongly, my neighbours on his ZX9R (same shape as your 600) his mounted under the side fairing so that the tail pieve didnt need cutting and also looked 10x better. Its hard to explain, take the rear side fairings off, and put the under tray on then put the side fairings back on so that the edges of the undertray are underneath them, also drill two 2mm holes for the indicator wires to go through.

standard brake light is one unit, the little clip seperates the 2 lights to make it look like a twin brake light

wish it was that easy tommy, the undertraym wouldnt actually fit in at ll until all the old one had been removed just before the battery box, and it was too thick to fit under the side fairing, im gonna neaten it up when i have a day off and the weathers warm
