Just putting the wifes cbr back together, & as i had now got the exhaust back on, decided to start it up.

Would not start
, checked i had put both fuel pipes on, yep, took th top one off quick jab of the starter, yep fuel p**sed out of the fuel tap, put it back on, still no go,

took the plug out, fuel on the plug, so fuel getting to the chamber, put the plug back into the plug cap & held against the head, no spark, very strange

Checked the fuses, all ok

Anyone got any idea, have I missed something???

Will get a new plug tomorrow & try again.

Change your plug. Failing that, get a multimeter which will do high voltage, and put one end inside your HT lead, the other on your engine. Press your starter and see if you get a high voltage difference...

If you've got any crap underneath the dust over on your HT lead then it could cause it. If changing the spark plug doesnt work give it a quick blow out with an air line. And if that doesnt work then its time to whip out the multimeter.

To test if its working, shove one end up your a*sehole, the other down your japeye, then lick a 9 volt battery

I'd whip out the multimeter anyway - they're so fun! (just joking!)

just take the spark plug out, place it against the frame, dont hold the plug and press the starter button, then you'll be able to see what the sparks like or if its not there at all

Did that, as per my first post

Mind you, I did put it back into the plug cap before holding it against the frame/cylinderhead
