need some help converting micro fieches
ive got three official mito parts fieches mito 2, mito 2 racing, evo
if someone could help me out here maybe i could then put a pinned post up with all the parts available hopefully as a pdf down load

so any pointers as to what to do

once some1 tryed to scan the mikrofiche by using PC's scanner that had film-camera's film scanner in it.. didnt quite make it..resolution was bad..

can you go to library ? Library's usually do have Microfilm + Mikrofiche readers available !

ohh, would be more than wonderfull to have data from Mito2 racing (old '92 mk2 ? )

i hunted my Mikrofiche reader device for 2-years..
I searched the reader from bank office's/post office's etc places that had old stock for sale to public (their old computer's etc stuff)

yep tried the scanner way, it was crap
you'd think that working in a printers there would something to read these on aswell but no its older technology than we use

new library has opened up down the road might try there aswell

if i have to invest in machinery to extract images i may have to charge for file downloads
so trying not to fork out any money first but even if i did im sure there would be enough people paying

?1.50 a pop to cover machinery costs let me know whos interested

Hi !

My MikroFiche reader cost me 50 euro's. i bought it from a private person who used it to study his "family tree"..

Some car service carage's might still have these readers also.. Parts List books for car's were saved into these Mikrofiche's until middle 90's or so..after that CD's arrived big time..

here in Finland my library charges like 50cent/per A4print taken from Mikrofiche. 1 euro if taken only some pages.. and quality aint even good usually because of the current state of Mikrofiche health..

no they are still microfiches at the moment
and they have all the part numbers and exploded parts diagrams on them
but would love to transfer them into pdf or cd for who ever wants them

not ideal like, but you could get them up on (projected?) screen at the library and then use a decent digi camera to take pics in the highest res possible???

been busy with work 12hour shifts 6day weeks havent had time
will try the library when i get time off if not library might try specialists company's
that can convert into pdf( expensive though)
will keep you informed
