Petrol into carb:

OK i am putting pertol into the tank and this is not going down into the carb. I drained the fluid from the carb screw drain thingy and now i have put petrol in its still not working and when i turn this screw nothing comes out.???

I know this aint the cbr petrol tap but you get the point:



Should the bit not linked to anything on the side be linked somewhere?

i dont think it will work even if u turn the screw, coz

two tubes go to the carb, one in front and the other behind...it won't work with only one tube, as the whole system is vacuum diaphram operated

ahh rite cause the tube is loose inside connected to the front and i was wondering why, then i noiced that on the tap (diagram above) that there was the nozzle end not connected to anything. Hmmm. that could be why its not kicking over then. cheers matey

get the tube that attaches to the bottom nozzle on the tank attach it and suck on the other end petrol will come out of the other nozzle

had the same trouble on mine yesterday and that pipe had come off. put it back on and went for a blast on it for the first time since before xmas, loads of fun since i put the 14T sprocket on.
