Hello !

I had put a new RC Valves Control Unit (TV - 78; unrestricted) and a new CDI (CI626; unrestricted)
Other parts e.g. exhaust, jets, reeds are stock. Max speed is 120 km/h and I can't get over 11000 rpm.
So, maybe there is someone, who can tell me what could cause it

I hoped that I reach at least 150 km/h.

Looking forward to Your answers,
Joosep

How stock is the exaust? Is that still restricted? And the intake manifold restrictor plate is taken out? Also if you had to change your CDI i presume its a european bike which means the exaust restrictor is about 7 inches down the pipe and not visible...

You should change your jetting to 138,65,42...maybe your reeds too...

If it is a european bike asainiard should be able to help you out more than i can...he should be on later...

My bike reached 90mph fully restricted and around 105-110 after...

ur problem is tht ur bike is an honda nsr. they aint a fast bike.i dnt think there would b anything wrong on ur bike
haha, new rs monkey posting in the nsr section with inferior knowledge.

an nsr will quite happily sit with or cane an rs from a standstill mate. its not until the sixth gear that the rs comes into its own as sixth is an overdrive on the nsr

The exhaust may have the restriction about 7 inches down the pipe.. But how to identify it ? It isn't visible, is it ?
And how can I remove it ? I guess the best option is to buy a full jollymoto system, right ?

If anybody could comment my questions, I would be very grateful.

I think you could check with a piece of wire of something...maybe like a cloths hanger, stick it down the pipe and if it hits something its restricted... Youll have to take the exauast off to do this mind...

To remove requires you to cut exaust open, take it out,and then weld back up...bit hard

If thats the reason for lack of power it would seem so...you could get a tyga if your low on funds, but i dont know where ya can get one, maybe Loki can fill you in there? I have the a Jolly Moto full system

de-restricting exhaust is not so easy , you need a oxyacethylenic torch with soft steel as charge . look at the picture http://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/potm.jpg . introduce a piece of wire by the exhaust entry , after about 8" you will be stopped by the restrictor . take out wire and report the length outside to mark approx position of the restrictor . your mark must be a cross to refit perfectly the 2 halves . with a steel saw cut down the pipe as vertical as possible . when finish you will see the restrictor , knock it off then re-solder the 2 halves with your mark on line . that's it
an other question : do you take off the intake plate between the reeds block and the carb ? if not take it off
if yes do you still have the white plastic block inside the block reeds ? if not you must fit one because it's a guide for the mixture going in the carter-motor
mind to fit all contact surface in the intake with sealing paste

buy an aftermarket exhaust. guianelli still stock them for the nsr. or look on ebay or something.

also isnt there an airbox restriction AND a sprocket 'restriction' on the nsr?

when i say sprocket i mean its smaller than the satndard de-restricted version

I certainly will buy a jollymoto exhaust system, when I get enough money for that. But I think twice about cutting the exhaust, because can only the exhaust restrictor limit top speed around 120km/h and top revs to 11000 rpm ?

There wasn't the intake plate for sure. And the white block is in the place, where it has to be

And does the price ?250 include the full j-moto exhaust system, or just the silencer (carbon) ?
