Hello people,

Jus need a lil help to find out whats happening to my bike this time.

The situation is: Driving as i usually would slowly accelratign through to about 8000 revs when the engine starts whirring and its almost as if its pulling back on me, sorta like a powervalve sticking. yet the powervalve is now unplugged since it f*cked up bout half a year ago, so its not that.

all i can really say is its very tempermental some times its ok, but recently its been doing it alot any ideas, Kye or anyone else???? Cheers

ypvs works by being open when the bike is turned off, when you turn the ignition on it closes itself then opens itself, that's like a test cycle then when you start the bike the power valve closes itself and does not begin to open itself till the higher rpm.

that's how it works on dt's and tzr's anyways, perhaps you need to start your engine then remove the fuse to restrict the bike?

why do you want to restrict it?

may have done something to void the warranty i suppose, if not then he needs to get his ass to his dealers.

When you disconnected the controlbox / servo, did you do-so when the valve was open or shut? Sounds like your valve is shut...

help i had a crash the other day some car cut me up made me come off then drove off nice hey, but my handle bars snapped and back brake lever snapped fixed it all but it will not start my mate said i have to reset it or some thing and how do i do that, or what can i do to get it started tryed jumping it and the engine just turns over.

i'd be more worried about finding the bloke that knocked you off

take it bike was on its side, do the obvious of cleaning plug and checking for spark, if it was running before ok and no its not obviously double check what you have done! check the kill switch wiring too,
