wot u gonna do for the fairing! surely the rs stuff wouldent fit!

any thing will fit the is no word as wouldent or wont lol and the rs fairing will be going back on it now as i will using it on the track aswell as the road when it is done

some up dates for you all i had a good go at it about 2 weeks ago after not touching it for 8 weeks been to busy flying down back roads
new mounts that got put in at work for shocker and engine ( the shock mount is center ect it just how it is sat on the stand)

and before some one says it the engine bolt is all one now

some of the mock up in the engine bay just so i no were stuff can go

and how it stands to this day started working out if i can run the rad at the front and i think i can now just with a mod rgv 250 rad with some of the center cut out
so will start to make brackets for it as the brackets i have on are just for seeing if it will fit

Is that rear shock at an angle or is it me?

had some free time this afternoon so i fitted the sp shock i had got hold of
as normal it was not just a bolt in thats it done

i need to cut /trim the swingarm now the fun of building a bike

should have the new front end on next week aswell (bits done )

I want to do a similar mod over winter, but I will aim to put a bigger single cynlinder 4 stroke possibly from an old trailie bike, this would require significantly less work all youd need to do is machine engine mounts and get a custom header pipe made for the manifold/exhaust

For a 4 stroke xr 650r would be or a CR500 2 stroke motor.

AFAIK, the TDM 850/900 rad is nice and small, many streetfightered bikes I see use this rad

nor not found anywere yet i have sealed the bottom were i have cut it down but it still needs testing + i have not got the new front end on yet so dont no if it will miss with it on the rs front end on it will be 1 inc lol

if it is no good i will get a made to fit one done

ye i will be going there all the reports from people are good apart from the time he takes but as long as i get some nice pipes im happy and he is local to me

As for rads I'll pm you the details of the company that did mine for me, there in stockton aswell, and there level of work is f**king fantastic, top company!

Although mine now runs noticeably hotter, but a big feck of fan sorts that! lol

i am really going to get my finger out now i wont it built ready for strip down or just waiting for pipes xmas time then will easy have it done for summer and ride it /sort problem out then

i just wont a screaming 2t again and i can not wait to here you bike and my bike out it will sound evil or and the smell of my bike on pre mix

got hold of a BRAND new set of braking wavy discs (front) aswell for ?110

just be well out the way when i get on the brakes if you dont hit the bike when i come off i will fly past you

I've never noticed this thread before, brilliant read. Thumbs up to you kev its a brilliant project. I say keep rs125 fairings on it when its done, so it still looks like an rs125 that isnt so rs125. lol
