seen a black and yellow CBR600F-Y (W reg) for sale bob minions (derby) for ?3000. Shes got 12,000 miles, FSH, smartwater and an alarm. Does this seem a good deal? Sorry for bein a noob but i'm not too clued up on sportsbikes.

not really mate im gunna have to say, my mate got a 2000 plate with 10,000 miles mint condition no alarm, in black though.

for 2800, so i think thats just a little over priced tbh

i would say that bikes more worth 2500, but i dont know what price ranges are like up your way

they ok bikes mate bit bolky for me but my mate has one and they quite quick if you want to know, sound lovly with a race can too.

you can always try and knock him down a bit or get him to throw some extra sh*t in there to make up for the extra costs of the bike. Even if you sell the stuff they give you on gaybay to recuperate ur funds

I had one that year in red blue and white, great bike, not as fun as my RGV but as an allrounder hard to beat really. I paid about ?3500 for mine a year ago, 10k, mint, from a Honda dealer.

From a dealer ?3k is about right, you could probably find a nice one for ?2.5k private, but if you really like it, press the dealer a bit, if he won't budge on price get stuff like a fresh MOT, service etc thrown in. Also ask if he has any extra's for the bike, dealers tend to put standard bits back on bikes and the aftermarket stuff, cans etc often gets left in a store room.

When I bought mine they threw in a carbon scorpion can they had lying around

try ringin up A quote, I was getting quotes for ?1200 from everyone, they wanted ?650 with the full AA package. tell them you've had a quote of about 700 an see wha they say
