Im polishing my frame (GOD WHY!?!?!) and i need to take off the ALCAST plate on the sides and I wondering are they stuck on wth glue and can I just glue them back on?

And how do I take off the honda emblem on the top yoke and stick it back on as both are getting anodised black...

your anodising your frame black......did i hear that right
ok your choice mate if you are.

the alcast badges on each side of the frame are stuck on with somthing as my left one slowly came off after washs lol

the badge on the yoke i dont think you will be able to get off, you would be able to metal glue one on but i doubt your b able to get it off mate

also how are you going about stripping the original crapy paint off the frame etc? as i polished up my rear pillion grab rail when i had my nsr to a chrome look and laqured it, looked mint.

i used the obvious paint stripper to do that but some peeps seem to use sand paper to do it
takes a few weeks doing it that way lol

No my bad... Im getting both yolks anodised black and frame polished... I plan to Nitromors the sh*t outta both and use sandpaper with a drill attachment... And do the awkward bits by hand. Would nitromors be handier than than sandind the paint?

Cheers,brian...

if you intend to change your bearings , not necessary to put new seals just fit bearings waterproof on both side . for the backwheel they are 6003 & 6203 , so use 6003UU and 6203UU , for the front wheel i do not remember the size (6200 or 6202 ?) but they are the same and fit UU models . they will be cheaper at a mechanic shop than at honda . you need a stand usable on both wheels , a good hammer and a big piece of rod (bigger than the wheel axis) . when fitting them , never knock on the center, knock on the cage with a piece of hard wood .

Also need new brake cylinder bolts as I had to drill the other ones off... Preferably stainless or aluminium... Where can I get these?

And screws to hold front subframe on either side...

And noticed this morning the screw for the speedo cable...

Also missing 2 other screws that hold underneath the front cowl and the two side panels together(Its kinda of an odd one)

Chances are ive probably lost 1 or 2 more...

Thanks...Brian

After sorting out the screws but have run into a problem...

When taking the alcast badges off they got a little damaged and David Silver has no stock and the parts have been discontinued...

So may cut a plate of aluminium that size and get it engraved or something...
