Im new here, so hello to everyone.

I'm having a major problem with my cbr125 (04 model) in that when i leave my bike out when it rains my battery loses alot of energy and often dies altogether. i'm assuming water must be getting into the ignition switch or coil?

has anyone else experienced this problem? and does anyone know of any solutions? any help would be very much appreciated!

owen

sounds like the rain is causing a short.... check all connections etc and wd40 all of them make sure the water cannot get into them again..

Damnit, wish I'd seen this last week. Lidl had some kick-ass covers going for bikes for about a tenner each last week. Keep your eyes peeled for them when they come around again either at Lidl or Aldi.

They seem to rotate the same deals between the two shops on a regular basis... So keep an eye out.

I have two now. One for each of my bikes. Kick-ass bits of kit. They don't even mind hot cans
