Silver wouldnt be much good as the wheels are already silver lol, Bike might be going anyways, but I actually really like the red!

Hell no, colour of your rims doesn't suit rim tape anyway imo, only on black rims......so saying that, I reckon you should powdercoat the rims black, look mint I reckon.
