hi, didnt really want to start a new topic but couldnt find any others,
i have a orange cbr125 and really want the front spraying blue. does anyone no how much this will cost?
and does anyone no the paint code for the blue used on the cbr's???
also i live in nottingham, does anyone know where i could get it done around here??

I reasonable price for an entire CBR125 to be re-painted is about ?400 to ?500. No more, or youre just getting ripped off, though bare in mind who you go to get it done. Make sure its a reputable place that does it. If you know anyone with modified cars, ask them.

u cud jus do it yourself, have a look in the rs section of the forum,plenty of hints tips and step by step guides on wot/wot not to do!

Could work out cheaper to just buy blue fairings on ebay from a bike breaker!

Thats a good point! Theres a total of six panels that can be replaced to blue and if the colour is not liked, theres no real loss as they can be sold on again. If its like, the others can be sold too!

yea i reckon ebays def the way to go, i rebuilt the front of my bike with fairings from ebay, cost a grand total of ?50 including postage and most of the bikes that seemed to be breaking were blue lol.its cos they wanna replace it for red fairings cos everyone knows red give u an extra 80hp

Watch what you are paying for on ebay, I went into my local Honda dealer & checked the prices for new panels, bit of a suprise, the two main parts of the top fairing are ONLY ?25 each

The two lower cowl panels are ?54 each new.

u mean the bits with honda written on em yea? mind you they qouted the same price for the front side fairings aswell, maybe they got it wrong....should of bought em at that price if they were wrong!lol

The two large panels at the bottom - lower left and right cowls. The main front fairing is composed of main 3 panels on each side. Upper, middle and lower. The upper were about ?34 each, havent bought any middle because they are fine. Insider upper were about ?20 each.
