the problem started when i run out of fuel (the bike was going great and starting great untill that)when i put more fuel in it it was very hard to start now it wont start at all??????????????

i have cleaned the carb out and checked that its getting a spark and fuel, everything is in the right place so whats wrong????????

can anyone help i was told it could be compression or the timing chain

right my friend. I will forgive you for the comments in the other threads and help you out. You may find the prob is your fuel tap. strip it and rebuild it. when you do stretch the spring inside a little and that should prevent the problem happening again. also try bump starting the bike. sounds weird but mine did this and wouldn't start on the button. I bumped it and it ran no prob and it was ok after that.
thanks for the help but you have to understand iv had this bike from new and its never been relyable.

my xtc when its going is a great bike and looks pure class and i will also say it looks better than any rs out there but i cant advise anyone to buy one to use on a daily dasis.
