The NSR was at 16,000miles when i got it, and i put about 1,00miles on it since. What servicing should be done. Dont know much about its history?

take off exhaust pipe and look inside the exhaust port how much carbon inside especially on the valves flaps . if you find much , it's time to decarbonize and change piston-kit .
if ok i suggest good cleaning on :
- tank and tap (fuel filter)
- air box foam filter
- carb (strainer and float chamber) and blow all the jets
- gear box oil change
- oiling on every cable
- break pads check

You reading my mind Alain?

Got the exhaust off at the min to change it for a derestricted one. Looks fine.
Also just changed the jets and cleaned the carb out while i had it off.

Think i need new brake pads though?
