jus lately i have noticed that when i start my bike up and rev it, it makes a rattling sorta sound.

Also when i am hammering it down the dual carriage way it vibrates like a ramptant rabbit!! well perhaps not as bad as a ramptant rabbit

Well mine has had a slight rattle since the day I got it. Had done 3,800 miles when I bought it, it's now done 13,500. It's had it's services etc and is running perfect

valves nock or tap, the cam chain/clutch rattles.

Vibration could be wheels out of balance, loose engine mount or unbalanced carbs.

A full service and check over should get it runing smooth.

expect about 3-400 for a major service.

They all do it.

Some vibrate through the pegs. Thats the chain and sprokets. The chain runs along the gaurd and all the vibration is absorbed by the frame. Every ninja I have ever ridden feels the same.

The rattle is the engine... again they all do it. But at 17k id get the valve shims and spacings done to be sure you dont want it to go pop!

If it still vibrates check the engine mounts and all barings.
