Only done 700 miles aswell

1 could you tell what size and details as first time ever that a chain as snapped on me.I dond want to pay loads

Not bad quality, mine is runnin ok so far. i got the chain and sprocket set

Even without oiling how did you snap it at 700 miles, too tight?

Was pulling wheelies at weekend so that probably hasnt helped.

oil my chain all the time really,stock are just wank

if the chain was properly maintained/tightened correctly then it could just be a manufacturing fault. What were you doing (apart from riding

Oh yeah nearly forgot, did it do any damage when it let go? Heard of broken chains cracking engine casings and stuff

seems very suspect, would say you didnt took after it properly for it to break after 700 miles, did you ever tighten it bc lubing is all good but if i aint tight enough youve got no chance

Nothing wrong with standard chains, mine has finally come to the end of its life this week.

Done about 9,500 miles on this one which isnt bad at all.

did it actually snap or has link just gone? if so just buy a new link, keep chain lubbed and adjusted and it wont happen again.

My chain keeps on coming loose, and I don?t know how to tighten it to I have to take it to the garage very time. Is it hard to do ?? ??

Also what should I use on the chain to maintain its life. ??? ??
