Today just turned ignition and found that my oil lamp came on. so i top it up like anyone else does, few minutes later when engies running i find out that oil was dripping out from the bottom quite fast

thats 12 quid down the drain.....
anyway photos go like this

I THINK the rubber seal thing has gone..
if it is.. what parts do i need?

Did you happen to fit it more than the max mark? as i filled mine up to much and it leaked a bit out. Not loads though. Was after i had been out and came back.
Do you know where it leaked from? The cap or the over flow pipe etc?

Yes where is it leaking from??? I doubt its the oil pump,i had a little accident there the other week

And dont worry about topics,this board is barely alive so keep 'em comin whenever your stuck cos theres only 5ish of us makin topics anyway...

The leak was fast and kept on going will oil tank was emptied

that by it self was a waste of 12 quid. not happy atall.
well i was 2 hours late for college which is good

anyway after having a little rumage i narrowed it down to the rubber funnel looking thing and the guy at david silver spare thinks the same too. so i got a new one , only 2 quid with p and p

should be here this weekend and will fit as soon as it comes.

na thats still exists. i found out that it goes in to 6th gear when the bikes doing below 45 ish..

this is the rubber at the exit of the bottle (it happened several times on mates bike) inside this rubber you've got the oil strainer . it's like a teat . if your bike is before 1993 the reference is 55107 KE1 000
if it's 1993-2001 ref is 55107 KBS 900
