Had a little scrape on my SV a while back in which I bent my forks. I had the bike strapped to a tree for a while so that I could have the old ones off. I reassembled all of it today but when I went to start it- no luck.

All the lights work. I have a neutral light. I can hear the fuel pump priming.
When I press the starter, nothing happens- not even a click as if there was a flat battery.

Anyone got any insight?

Cheers
Lewis

check sidestand switch....get a loop of wire and bridge the two wires (on the loom end) charge the battery, even if it's showing 12.5v, when you hit the button it may be dropping to 6.5v, check the kill switch is in the correct position (many people miss this), check the 30a start solenoid fuse....
OOPS just seen how old this post is...
