Want to remove swingarm and get powder coated, but do I have to remove the pivot bushings and replace them,or can I remove them them and put the same ones back in?

How do you take off the bottom yoke as I removed the top and now have to do this one...

Also do I need to replace the steering bearings as the steering seems a little notchy?

Cheers,Brian

just unbolt the bottom yoke, quite simple. just make sure the front end if tied up in the air or a few bricks etc under the centre of the bike.

as for the pivots i aint got a clue what ya going on about, explain?

The bushes on the rear pivot should always be replaced when you take the swingarm off or on, and the lower yoke is part of the actual steering post that come up through the top yoke so replacing the bearings will involve taking the whole wheel and forks off and dismantling the steering assembly.

I know it takes ages hahahaha, I got one of those drill attachments, some elbow grease saved there then! I need to tear into the bike again 2moro and get back on track... I may just nitromers the paint off the bottom yoke and spray some black hammerite on it as it did alright on the calipers, its not noticable as much as the top yoke anyway...
