Stoooopid question!!

How do you get these off without leaving any marks and will it be shinier underneath?

peal the sticker off and then use nail polish remover to remove the glue underneif, if that doesnt work try sum1 elses opinion. if there is

just make sure u dont get any nail polish remover near that back disk. Also if i remember correctly nail polish remover can eat through the O-rings on the chain. That last bit might be bollocks but i heard somethin about it

Looks sweeet now! Used a bit of petrol as had no nail varnish remover and the missus is at work, came up a treat.

I've been told to use Diesel to remove stickers, it's oily and wont damage.

Try it next time you have to remove a sticker on a CD case or something....

Petrol got rid of it within seconds. Can you clean anythin else with the stuff?

petrol is great for cleaning loads of stuff, especially around engines, just need a stiff toothbrush and your sorted, also parafin is another good one

Hmmm Nice one mate. May have to do a good clean this weekend. Washed and waxed my bike yesterday...then it rained suddenly. gutted!

Hair-dryers work well for taking off the vinyl stickers but it takes a while as you really need to help them took make them curl and peel.

WD40 will get the glue straight off, spay it onto a rag the wipe and itll be gone.

signwriter by trade so iv done loads of sticker application and removal, warm the stickers up with a hair dryer or paint stripping gun (dont sound scared about that, its a trade secret for speed) one the sticker is warm, peel it off slowly and it should take the glue with it, if not use petrol to remove it (some people use nail varnish remover but this can f*ck up the o-rings in chains etc and as pointed out earlier diesel works well too but it stinks and its hard to get the smell out your hands)

one the glue is removed if there is any colour variation, use some good old fasioned original t-cut (not the colour match stuff cos thats actually a polish), wait till its dry, then rub off and its back to new, if ya like u can polish it afterwards but its not necessary.
