I have done the miles to run the engine in now, and the time has come to unleash the power valve!

I go it done on wednesday, i also got some gold renthal bars and some acerbis handguards fitted.
Looks the bees nees now.

I must say the bike is bloody rapid now, the power increase is so good, when it kicks in at high revs it even slings me back like NOS or summin lol!

Cant wait to get a pipe for it, when i do im going to get it annodised in gold if i can.
I also try and get this part to fit on it, its off the aprilia tuono 1000, its the part where the handlebars sit in.

But...... I saw the new aprilia rs at In Moto, i had a proper look which i didnt do before, and im kinda thinking i would of maybe liked to get that one instead. Its absolutley gorgeous. But anyways i love my bike and wouldnt swap it now anyways.

What did ya do about the little peg in the left hand control unit? Itried to move mine round and found the sh*tty little prg locates in a hole in the bars!!

I think they put the powervalve kit on it, or they just enabled it when it mite of already been on there im not entirely sure , i would take it to a dealer and get it checked out

my m8 had an rs125 n e sed summat bout a black box under the seat tht u "break" the bridge on or summat? is tht the same on the mx dya no?

eehhhh ...cdi box yehp , search for breaking the link on cdi on here m8
it will give more power in lower revs but will void the waranty an im thinkkin MOT too ...so dont break it to much

the bridge in the cdi is their for when they made the bike to pass noise and emmisions regulations and should cause a flat spot mid revs, its common practice to cut it.

if you dont want to do it to your current cdi why not buy a used and and do it on that.

yes it will still pass mot aslong u still have a raod legal exhaust or you dont take the cat out of the standerd exhaust
