well i have an OXON monoshock. i can olny find oxon ones brand new. its pants, busted after a year. so says the mechanic. (however i think its because my rear tyre has a slowww puncture)

so wheres a good place to get new monoshocks for the 2rk?

mate that wont fit the 2rk bud as its a fork type bottom and the 2rk uses a solid bottom

well i bit the bullet (AIDS) and got some ?100 shock, the next "cheapest" was a hagon one at ?250!!!!

so yea, hope this 100 quid jobber works out!

well what a pile of WANK!!! busters sell monoshocks for the tzr for ?100 ish.

so like 10 days ago i ordered one. and nothing .

send them 2 emails.....nothing

so i phone them up, and they say THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK!!!!!

they were supposed 2 come in yesterday but they didnt!!! AIDS!!!!

worst thing is there website is so wank that it doesnt say the stock level!

you wouldve thought that they would email me and say something about them not having any

i just spoke to my yammy dealership.he said he could get hold of a "high level" branded rear shock for 85-90 quid but he couldnt guarantee the quality, but if you could manage to get hold of the part number for the original yamaha unit, they should be able to find out if anywhere in the country still has them in stock.but they are a discontinued item,so if there is one,it will be cheap, i think my old man payed about 30 quid for his 3 years ago

Fowlers of Bristol will be about the only place that'll still have 'em. It's the biggest parts distributor in the UK.

Failing that, if you're around the Bristol area, or indeed wish to pay some postage costs, I know a great 2-stroke breaker who can almost certainly sort you out with one.

Or you could do what I did, search ebay and pick up a good preowned one - I got mine, with a swingarm, for 25 squid all in.

Get me your exact model and i'll give fowlers a call, and report back.

my brand new betor monoshcok arrived today. after about 19 days since i ordered it!

buuuut i brought an rs125 yesterday so im not going to fit it untill easter!

then after its fixed up the tzr will go on to someone else!

but where did you manage to get your rear shock from eventually, and was/is it any good...
