Hello im not sure what the actual problem is but i'll describe whats happening best i can, hopefully some1 can shed some light on this.

Im getting sort of a lagg inbetween normal acceleration and when the powervavle opens, What happens is the bike sort of accelerates from smooth and then goes jerky until the powervavle opens properly (i know this only by listening to the engine), this is when im opening the throttle nice n smoothly, If it give it a thrash, and rip on the throttle, i'll hardly feel it as the powervavle will open right away,

Any help would be great dudes, cheers.

They have a flat spot at 5.5K revs. Some don't pull through it in the higher gears. The flat spot is caused by the expansion chamber harmonics.

im feeling this in 1st and 2nd gear by the way? i can pull through it, but i hate it so much, feels like a struggle to get to higher revs, only it can get to higher revs easy if i rip it.

I find this on all 2-strokes, it's almost like the plug fouling, it coughs splutters and farts for a second or two then pulls through.

shall i try a new plug then? and maybe check the powervavle n clean it if needed. If there all like this, i should defo get my test done asap and get a big 4t.

sounds pretty normal to me. unless its excessively jerky.

If this happens just after warming the bike, it's just the plug temporarily fouling, all smokers do it at low rpm.

The problem with plannets is that it's all feel as you're unable to quantify it due to the lack of tacho.

If its really bothering you change the plug, clean the filters and invest in a hour on the dyno to check the jetting.

Mine stutters at 5.5k, but is fine after that. It's all relative. Strokers are not happy unless they're running at full throttle under load in the power band.

Its weird today it was fine? i was going into powerband smoothly, even when i was easy on the throttle, im going to install a rev light very soon, hopefully that will help with the tacho issue, cheers geez.
