i am thinking about buying some new tyres for my ninja what do you guys reccomend, i want a good pair tht is both good in wet and dry on my old bike i had bt090`s which i thought were really good but i aint sure whats on the zxr, they jus dont seem to feel right cheers

i got michellin pillot power 2 CT's on my bike at the moment, they are really soft, BT014's are good, maybe give the new BT015's ago, 2CT's are ment to be the best tyres out at the moment . . .

Pirelli Diablo's.

Try a 120-70 on the front with a 180-55 rear. Did it to mine and handling is better than standard sizes.

sorry to thread-jack, but ive got pirelli corsa evo's on my ducati - are they any good??? front is gunna need changing fairly soon but theres loads of life in the back. Im still getting used to riding bigger bikes so havent really trusted myself to throw it into corners yet so i dont really know the shoes are ratable.

a very underated tyre imo is the conti road attack, i have these on my zx6r and to be honest they have lasted really well and grip like sh*t to a blanket in all weathers..

they are getting close to needing changing and i am seriously thinking on sticking with them.

If you change the front change the back, you cant' get Dragon Evo Corsa's anymore, they're ANCIENT

I'd change them anyway, old tyres "go off" after a few years and don't perform as well

The Diablo Corsa replaced them, but stock Diablo's are plenty enough for road riding

got a set of pirilie supercorsa pros sitting in my garage which feel so sticky and i expect are sweet tyres, decided to not use them and put some 020's on lasting alot longer, had them on the track sunday managed to melt the edges and highspeed knee down so even tho sports touring tyres they dont half grip well so unless you are extremely qucik id get something like that. oooo im selling the supercorsa's if ya interrested

Threw some Diablos on the bandit, and they really are good tyres, will certainly be using them again! Although Ive been running the Mito on BT090's and gonna try some supercorsa pros in the summer!

Diablo Corsa III's are 3 compound based ones if you're into snazzy sh*t like that, but standard Diablo's are more than enough for ANY road riding in my opinion, and still good enough for the fast group in trackdays
