the 700cc zabel engine (same as used in some maico's) is for sidecar racing
and produces 110 bhp - and the engine and ignition weigh 28kg

slowly evolving - fitting the engine is easy - better suspension costly

I think there might be a bit of 'mines bigger than yours'' in that pipe

the ones for the sidecar are long but a lot smaller diameter.......



some nice fabrication there - you would need insulation on your leathers.....

if you buy an engine - buy it complete with carbs and ignition...etc

if you don't it can cost a lot to get the right items together.

also - see the engine running (if possible) most bikes get broken because the
engine has blown or a fault preventing proper use. I speak from having bought
an engine that 'just needed a rebuild' - pistons and rings for a Zabel are about
£900 ! only one supplier - only a few thousand made etc etc - this all screwed up
the budget for carbon wheels !
