cheers lads.

theres a few M3 owners that use autosol on there bare metal wheels and then use a wax to offer some protection so i think i will be giving that a go tomorrow, i will post up the results with a few pics.

thanks a lot for your help

The frame has no clear coat, if that's what you mean. I'd bet it's annodized like my RS250 though so reckon Autosol is on the harsh side to be using regularly - great for a means to buff out light scratches that had accumulated over time. As a weekly detailing polish - do you get McGuires Metal Polish or Purple Polish over there?

I'd be interested to know what wax they use on their wheels please?

Cheers for the reply PerthOz. Here's a link to a thread posted by the main man for M3 wheel refurb on that site, well worth a read of you've got 5 mins

If you can't be arsed, he says somewhere near the end to finish them with a carnuba wax which isn't very spacific but that's good for us as you can get all different carnubas of the shelf rather than having to hit a specialist online shop.
