, im new to biking and just bought my 1st Mito , its registered as a Mito Evolution and doesnt have the round lights but has the ones that are oblong its a 1997 one is that a mark1? its yellow the fatest colout haha.

do you have any good resouces on reading up bout maitenance and 2 stroke engine etc cheers.

Iv read most of the posts already but will most of the parts from the 2000 onnwards bike fit the 1997, my bike doesnt have the white graphics on it, i.e nose cone and seat platics is this painted on or is it a graphic?

does it have 3 or 6 spoke wheels? 6 or 7 speed gearbox?

sounds to me from your description you have a mito evo 1, these have 3 spoke wheels and a 7 speed gearbox.

1997 sounds like the mk1 and no yellow is not the fastest RED is

will be an evo 1 as jonny said. most parts will fit from a 2000 model mito.

reds a dark colour hence attacts the heat from the sun, hence causing it to over heat , so it makes it slower haha. jk

always parts for mito's on there just make sure u know what u're buying i.e working parts and the right model

yea , what is it with the black frame???? , all of them i have seen for sale etc and on here are silver? whats the deal, can this be replaced easy enuff, or will i have to strip the whole lot down?

:/ loved the 3 spokes when I 1st seen them, thinking of swapping them out now.

Need to put the original stickers back on its looking a bit bland me thinks. and give it a good and clean and sort out that rusty zorst, krust all the way lol

look at ebay Germany, go to ebay world site map.
A lot of the german stuff does not come up on the GB ebay

Must be a lot of money in Germany ,cos so many Mito wrecks an bits?

Sweet Ducati Cas you kick ass , i just got a used yellow fron fairing for my mito for ?50 , good condition laquer flaking in 2 small parts but for ?50 all in thats a fricken bargin.

hehe new lights ?75 , front Fairing ?50, driving your 1st mito priceless
